Accommodation in Tuscany
The Old Olive Press, Il Vecchio Frantoio in Italian, is a collection of old agricultural buildings lovingly renovated to provide comfortable and stylish accommodation for up to eight guests. The accommodation is arranged over two floors and consists of four double bedrooms with en suite shower rooms, living room and modern kitchen. Two of the bedrooms can be made up into twin bedded rooms if required. Wifi is available throughout the entire building including bedrooms.
The sunny stone courtyard is central to the building and is a beautiful place to paint, read a book, eat & drink or just relax. There is a large wooden table for al fresco dining and a bbq for those warm summer evenings. We have a plunge pool located on the lower terrace, with comfortable seating and sun loungers. The views across the valley are amazing, and you really get a sense of solitude. Beyond the pool terrace is a track that leads down into the olive groves, which are delightful to explore.
Terenzano is surrounded by two environmentally protected parks; National Park of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and the Regional Park of the Apuan Alps. The local walks are beautiful and abundant with flora and fauna and the views are breathtaking. Infact we have named our bedrooms after some of the animals you may come across whilst out exploring; cinghiale (wild boar), volpe (fox), aquila (eagle) and porcospino (porcupine).

Living and outdoor space
We have a modern guest kitchen that you may use. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking facilities, tea & coffee, dishwasher & washing machine, and a large fridge freezer. In the war against single use plastic, we will supply you with a glass Bialetti water bottle for you to take on your travels during the holiday.
With its high ceiling our communal living room is the perfect place to relax, chat, eat and drink, and stay cool. There is a large dining table which easily acommodates 8 and an open fireplace for those cold winter months.
We have a small plunge pool on the lower terrace, where you can relax with wine and enjoy the views across the valley. We will happily supply towels to be used around the pool, just don’t forget your cossie! During the summer months the courtyard is bathed in hot sunlight throughout most of the day; we do have a large sail for shade, but a sun hat and cream are a must!
Cost for booking the entire house
As well offering artistic holidays, you can also privately book the entire house.
JUNE - SEPTEMBER: €1750 per week or €250 per night (minimum of seven nights stay)
Please note that we live with our two children plus Dachshund in one wing of the building, which is separated and completely private (we only share access through the courtyard). Even though we are nearby we will keep our distance and respect your privacy. We are however available if needed.
